Paul’s Car Wash celebrates 15 years of paying it forward!
Great event supporting Big Brothers/Big Sisters at Paul Horton's charity car wash last night at the Desert Ridge Marketplace. The GCU band was there along with the cheerleaders and their school mascot. We were also entertained by some very talented youth from the Chandler Yo-Yo Club. We had 8 Corvairs show up plus one sweet Lincoln Continental (Ryan's Dad). Our members and cars were featured on several live news spots between 4-7 PM on the evening news Channels 3 and 5. The club also presented a check to Big Brothers/ Big Sisters. Dennis even got his Spyder washed by the volunteers on live TV. Thanks to David Dean for arranging this event on short notice and also thanks to those who braved rush hour traffic and brought out a nice variety of Corvairs.

Attended the American Legion Post 35 car show today. We had 4 Corvairs show up including a V8 conversion (that didn’t stay long). Thanks Darin and Chris for showing up an representing Corvairs and supporting Veteran’s charities. Chris’s 66 vert won the Air Force branch choice. Congrats!
