A few sprinkles in the early afternoon caused a few convertible top to go up but it soon dried out and overall was a fantastic day. More pics will be added later tonight.

​Mixteca Cruise-in and Meeting Feb 2nd
We had a really nice turnout at the Mixteca meet even with the threat of rain predicted all week. Sorry I missed getting a photo of Darrin's 64 convertible. The meet was crowded and he had to park a few rows away from the rest of us.

Jan 15th;
​Since there are no event photos to share yet for 2019 I thought I would post up some pics I found on the web from an old club show back in 2003. These photos were discovered on a local website called stillruns.com about a guy and his old Chevy Impalas. The show was an All Chevy show and also was listed as the 24th Annual Cactus Corvair Show.

I see several cars I recognize even though it was 16 years ago. Cars like John Priddy's Evening Orchid 65 Monza and Art Vermiere's Yellow 69 coupe. I even see a car we now own which is my wife's white 65 Monza 4-door. How cool to see what it looked like at a show 16 year ago. The only other two Corvairs I have seen in recent times that are on that show report are Richard Royle's 65 180 Turbo vert (now with a new owner in New York) and Vic Howard's 63 Greenbrier (owned by another club member at that time). I wonder where some of the other Corvairs have ended up? Anyone know what happened to the white early model with the fender skirts and continental tire kit on the back? -Dave Wenzlick 1-23-2019
